The first initiative from our Learning Academy, the Leadership Development Programme, still has three sessions to run and we wanted to share an update from a recent session which covered the early part of the Employee Lifecycle, including preparing, sourcing and screening candidates, right through to hiring staff and the onboarding process. Held at Oldham Athletic FC events centre, it was a fun day, with lots of interaction from our Registered Managers, including some role-play, quizzes and other activities, here’s what one of them had to say previously:
“I absolutely love going to the LDP sessions, the atmosphere is amazing. It’s given me the opportunity to meet all our other Registered Managers and representatives from other departments too! When you sit in the room there is so much knowledge that it amazes me how much we all know but we’re still wanting to learn. Everyone is learning, even the people who come and join us from other departments take things away.”
We hope all of our Registered Managers enjoy the remaining events of 2024, as much as they have so far, and that this initiative really helps and supports them (and their teams) to continue delivering a service to be proud of.
